Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. Her grandmother was a resident of the slums in Manila until she turned three. The family she adopted is by an Filipino adoptive mother and white American military veteran. The woman has said that she and the brother were neglected by their adoptive parents from her childhood until she joined the army. The family moved to San Francisco for a few months, where they lived with their aunt, before relocating to Texas in the year 13 owing the need of her father to have a bypass procedure. She claims that the physical assault subsided but she still dealt with her father's psychological abuse in the home. She became a part of at the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch began her TikTok account around April of 2020 and swiftly rose to stardom with more than 40 million users in just eight months. She uploaded many videos and the one that was most popular was for Millie B's viral smash Soph Aspin Send. The singer lip-synched and danced to the beat in a zoomed out video. After joining TikTok she launched her own YouTube as well as a Twitter account to take advantage of her popularity. Her fame grew exponentially at the end of December in 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two major professional Esports teams. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves wanted to hire her to write content for their respective brands.
