Commercially, the film achieved a high level of success. Its budget was greater than ten times what it made. Additionally, it was highly appreciated by critics. The actress reprised her character in all three sequels of the movie. She reached new heights of popularity after playing a major character in Friends, a popular sitcom. She was awarded and nominated numerous times. The show, which became hugely popular, was shown over a period of 10 years on the television. The most recent of her works has been a part-time role in the drama movie Mothers and Daughters. Awards includes the TV Guide Award, which she received for her performance on Friends.
