Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American actress, singer as well as a former model. She was the main female singer in Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. In the 80s, the actress-singer Prince named Apollonia became just one of many female artists who gained from working with the prince. Patricia Kotero began her acting and modeling career in Santa Monica California, in the latter part of the 1970s. She also appeared on CHiPS. Apollonia's debut album came out in 1988. But the R&B/dance songs were not a huge hit by the public who purchased music. It soon disappeared. In the years that followed her career was a full-time actor, with a few film appearances and small TV shows. Apollonia released a CD in Spanish and English named Stay With Me in 1997.
