Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress and singer. The parents of Kristen Bell include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her parents are born in Polish heritage (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was able to show a flair for the arts at an early age on stage. She attended her audition in 1992, and was then offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom as an agent at the age of was 13 years old. Then, she was cast for newspaper ads and TV commercials. Additionally, she began to take private acting classes. Bell played a small part without credit for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band as well as the drama club. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she took home the part as Dorothy. After graduation Bell moved in New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied musical theater. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she had her first credit debut in Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her appearance exists only in the credit sequence. Bell was seen together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
